The Relay For Life is a fun-filled overnight event designed to celebrate survivorship and raise money for research and programs of the American Cancer Society ( [link] ). During the event, teams of people gather at schools, fairgrounds, or parks and take turns walking or running laps. Each team tries to keep at least one team member on the track at all times.
These types of activities to fund research for these types of conditions are very important to me and my family. Just this past year, I lost my aunt due to a 20+ year battle with Breast Cancer that finally spread into her spine, brain, and facial area. I know that I'm not the only one who deals with this - almost everyone knows someone who is suffering from some type of cancer.
I greatly appreciate your time, and thanks in advance.
If willling to donate, I am greatfully thankful that you have decided to do as such. If not, I sincerely thank you for taking the time to read this and would appreciate your moral support. Donations can be made through paypal to phaty@phaty.net - or if you were to email me at the same address - I can give you my home address to mail a donation.
I get the lovely opportunity to walk from 4:00am - 6:00am on the morning of Saturday, May 21st.
Once again, thank you, and God Bless.

How can you support Bush? Or any politician, for that matter, but specifically one who's social programs would not give to the poor. And one who bombs other nations needlessly? And allows the automatic gun ban run out. And the death penalty certainly isn't Christian, and more than that, decent. In the Bible there is naught but limited and very loose restriction on homosexuality; however, it is very clear when it says that wearing cotton and wool at the same time is a sin. And when it says that midgets should not be allowed in the Church. I only wish all of you Christians could pick a side; either interpret it loosely or don't. As for me, it seems silly to disallow midgets, and I'm wearing cotton and wool right now, but does that make me a sinner? Does it make me a bad person or reflect on my character? How many times have you sinned? Then why should me allowing homosexuals to marry reflect on my personality? For the sake of God, allowing homosexuals to do their thing isn't even my sin. God wanted Christians to spread his word, not enforce it. Let the judge be God, you just be the teller of the rules. Let the people make their own choice.
